Last summer I had the song “Temptation” stuck in my head every single day. After awhile I decided to make some kind of design thing out of it. I’ve always thought that New Order songs are kind of vaguely symbolic, so I wanted to create an iconographic interpretation of their songs. So I made one, then decided to make a few more, with the last poster Voltron-ing them all together.
This was a class assignment. We were supposed to take a brand we think is “dead” or “dying” and rebrand them. Radioshack is far from dead. They’re last Super Bowl ad was great. That being said, I think they can be more. This rebrand envisions the company as a community hub for creative technology and DIY culture.
